Story Core Workshop with Susan Soon He Stanton
House of Text on Thursday 30th of May, 10-12.
A ten-person workshop with writer-producer Susan Soon He Stanton. The group will discuss ideation as well as what the core of an idea is and how to find it. Participants can bring their own ideas with them to the workshop if they wish, and they can be used as examples to facilitate discussion.
Signing up for the workshop is open for the members of Sunklo from 10.00 on Wednesday 22nd of May until 10.00 on Friday 24th of May. After this, the ten participants will be randomly selected in a raffle.

Kymmenen hengen workshop käsikirjoittaja-tuottaja Susan Soon He Stantonin kanssa. Ryhmä keskustele ideoimisesta sekä siitä mikä on tarinan ydin ja kuinka löytää se. Osallistujat voivat halutessaan tuoda workshopiin omia ideoitaan, joita käytetään esimerkkeinä keskustelussa.
Workshopiin voi ilmoittautua sunklolaiset keskiviikkona 22.5. klo 10.00 alkaen.
Ilmoittautuminen sulkeutuu perjantaina 24.5. klo 10.00. Kymmenen osallistujaa arvotaan ilmoittautuneiden joukosta.

Käsikirjoittaja-showrunner Katri Manninen vetää Sunklon jäsenille avoimen workshopin tekoälyn turvallisesta käyttämisestä. Oma kone ei ole välttämätön. Osallistujat saavat halutessaan diat jälkikäteen.

Screenwriter-showrunner Katri Manninen gives a brief overview on what every screenwriter should know about AI right now.
14.00 – 15.00: Case Study: Makta (Norway) (sixth floor)
Nordisk Film & TV Fond CEO Liselott Forsman moderates Makta producer Vilje Hagen (Motlys) and executive producer Alec Thom’s (NRK) discussion on the process of creating the hit series Makta and what risks were involved in commissioning and making it.

Screenwriter Ninni Saajola moderates a discussion on the difficult art of commissioning “hit” content for different mediums and audiences with Executive Producer Alec Thom (NRK), Commissioner of Fiction Films Elina Pohjola (YLE), Executive Producer Sari Lempiäinen (Elisa Viihde) and Executive Producer Riikka Takila (YLE Nuoret).
